If you are a recently arrived immigrant looking to get started in the United Sates, you may qualify to receive language and employment assistance at no cost to you or the employer.

Who is eligible for these services?

• Individuals who arrived in the U.S. 60 months or less.
• Refugees of all nationalities
• Asylums of all nationalities
• Cuban/Haitian entrants (parolees and asylum)
• Ameriasians
• Victims of Trafficking/Domestic Violence

Services provided to the refugee population:

• Assessment

• Orientation and guidance

• Acculturation training

• Referrals to community services

• Assistance in obtaining work permit

• Transportation assistance

• Job training and counseling

• Employment referrals and assistance

• Career laddering

• Employment counseling and follow-up through counseling

• Guidance to achieve self-sufficiency
